1. General Principle
SoloRota packages are digital education services. Cancellation and refund requests are assessed taking into account whether the service has started, the lesson entitlements used and when the request was submitted.
The fact that this is a digital service does not mean that refunds are impossible in all circumstances. Your right of withdrawal and your rights under Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection remain reserved.
Each request is examined individually on the basis of the status of your order, and the outcome is communicated to you.
2. Order Cancellation
Before payment is completed you may remove items from your cart and end the order process at any time. No amount is collected at this stage.
After payment is completed, your cancellation request is assessed according to whether the service has started, in line with the sections below.
3. Failed Payments
If the payment is not approved by the bank or payment service provider, the order is not completed.
In this case no amount is collected from you and no service obligation arises. You may return to the payment step to try again or select a different payment method.
If an authorisation hold was placed on your card but no order was created, the held amount is released by your bank under its own processes. You may contact our support channels with your order details in such cases.
4. Payment Taken, Service Not Yet Started
If your payment has been taken but performance of the service has not yet begun — that is, digital content access has not been opened and no lesson or guidance session under the package has taken place — the full amount you paid is refunded upon your request.
No deduction or service fee is charged in this case.
It is sufficient to submit your request with your order number through our support channels.
5. After the Service Has Started
For refund requests submitted after performance has begun, used and unused portions are assessed separately.
The assessment takes into account:
- The number of lessons delivered and lesson entitlements used under the package
- The period for which digital content access remained open
- The total scope and duration of the package
- Any campaign and discount conditions applied
The amount corresponding to the performance already rendered may be deducted from the refund. The amount corresponding to the unused portion is refunded.
Where the claim is that the service was not performed properly, your statutory rights under Law No. 6502 apply and the assessment is made regardless of the proportion used.
6. First-Lesson Satisfaction Commitment
SoloRota offers two ways to try the service without risk:
- Free introductory lesson: you can assess the service in advance by attending an introductory lesson at no cost.
- First-lesson satisfaction commitment: if you have purchased a paid package and inform us that you are not satisfied after the first lesson of that package, the package fee you paid is refunded.
For this commitment to apply, your notice of dissatisfaction must be submitted through our support channels after the first lesson and before continuing with the package.
No deduction is made for the first lesson in refunds under this commitment.
7. Live Lesson Cancellation and Rescheduling
Requests to cancel or reschedule a planned live lesson must be submitted through our support channels a reasonable time in advance. Requests submitted in this way are not deducted from your lesson entitlement.
If the student does not attend a planned lesson without prior notice, that lesson may be treated as a used lesson entitlement.
Where a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, or prevented by a technical fault or a Platform-related access issue, it is rescheduled at no additional cost and is not deducted from your lesson entitlement.
8. Campaign and Discounted Packages
For packages purchased under a campaign or discount, the refund calculation is based on the amount actually paid.
No categorical refund ban is applied to campaign purchases. Your right of withdrawal and your statutory rights also apply to discounted products.
In campaigns where several packages are offered together, it is assessed whether the refund request relates to the campaign as a whole or to a single package, and the calculation takes the campaign conditions into account.
9. How to Submit a Refund Request
You may submit your cancellation or refund request through the channels on the Contact page.
To enable your request to be concluded quickly, you are asked to provide:
- Order number
- Full name and the email address / telephone number used when ordering
- The subject of the request (cancellation, withdrawal or refund)
- Any explanation regarding the service
You are never asked for your card number, security code or similar payment instrument details. There is no need to share such information.
10. Payment of the Refund
Approved refunds are made using the original payment method and through the same payment channel. For card payments, the refund is made to the card used for the payment.
Where the payment was taken through the infrastructure of a licensed payment service provider, the refund is likewise initiated through that infrastructure.
SoloRota initiates the refund within fourteen (14) days following receipt of the withdrawal notice.
The time it takes for the refund to appear on your card or in your account depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside SoloRota's control. This period varies between institutions. If the amount does not appear after the refund has been initiated, we recommend contacting your bank first and then our support channels if the matter is not resolved.
No cost or deduction is charged to you for the refund.
11. Conclusion of Your Request
Cancellation and refund requests are assessed within a reasonable period from the date they are recorded, and the outcome is communicated to you.
If your request is not met in whole or in part, the reasons are explained to you.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, your right to apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees or the Consumer Courts, within the monetary thresholds determined by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, remains reserved.
