1. Purpose of This Form
This Preliminary Information Form sets out the matters you must be informed of before completing your order, in accordance with Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts.
At the payment step you are asked to declare that you have read and approved this form and the Distance Selling Agreement. The order cannot be completed without your approval.
The general information in this form is read together with information specific to your order: the package name, quantity, unit price, any discount and the total amount payable are shown in the Order Summary at the payment step and recorded with your order.
2. Seller / Service Provider
The seller and service provider of the digital education service is the company operating under the SoloRota brand.
Its registered company name, address, tax details, MERSIS number and contact channels are set out in the Company information section at the end of this page and on the Contact page.
Payments are processed through the infrastructure of a licensed payment service provider. The payment service provider is not the seller; your counterparty for all requests and complaints relating to the service is SoloRota.
3. Essential Characteristics of the Service
SoloRota is a digital education platform providing online education services to students. By their nature, the packages sold are digital services and digital content; no physical products are sold and no shipping takes place.
Depending on the package, all or some of the following may be provided:
- Assessment of the student's level and needs
- A personalised learning path and study plan
- Digital lesson content, questions and tests
- Live lessons and one-to-one teacher support where stated in the package
- Guidance from a teacher or education adviser
- Progress tracking and parent reporting
- AI-assisted analysis and recommendation features
The definitive scope of the service you purchase is the content stated on the relevant package page and in the Order Summary. Not every package includes all of the above; the number of lessons, lesson duration, package duration and support scope vary by package.
4. Price, Taxes and Additional Costs
Package prices are displayed in Turkish Lira (TRY) and are VAT inclusive.
The total amount payable is calculated from the unit price, quantity and any discount applied. The Order Summary shows the subtotal, the discount amount and the total payable separately.
As this is a sale of digital services, no shipping or delivery charge applies. No amount other than the total shown in the Order Summary is charged to you.
Campaign and discounted prices are limited to the announced campaign period. Price updates do not affect orders completed before the update.
Instalment and interest arrangements applied by your bank or card issuer are governed by your relationship with that institution and are not set by SoloRota.
5. Payment Methods
You may pay using the methods actively offered at the payment step. For card payments, the transaction takes place on the secure payment page of a licensed payment service provider, to which you are redirected.
Your card details are not requested on SoloRota pages, are not displayed by SoloRota and are not stored by SoloRota. Card data is processed solely within the payment service provider's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
If the payment fails, the order is not completed and no amount is collected from you. You may return to the payment step to try again or select a different payment method.
6. Manner and Timing of Fulfilment
The service is performed electronically, without physical delivery.
Once your payment is approved, SoloRota contacts you using the details provided during the order and carries out the preparations required for the student's level assessment, study plan and, depending on the package, teacher matching.
Where the package includes access to the digital platform, access details are assigned to the email address you provided during the order and/or to your membership account.
For packages that include live lessons, lesson days and times are planned by mutual agreement according to student, parent and teacher availability.
The fulfilment process is described on the Delivery and Service Fulfilment Information page.
7. Provision of Digital Access
Access to digital content is provided through your membership account for the period determined for the package, as stated on the relevant package page.
An internet connection and an up-to-date browser are required. Packages with live lessons additionally require a working microphone, speakers and preferably a camera.
You must keep your access credentials confidential and must not share them with third parties. Account sharing may result in suspension of the account under the Terms of Use and Membership Agreement.
Entering an incorrect email address or telephone number during the order may prevent access details from reaching you and delay the start of the service. If this happens, please contact our support channels to update your details.
8. Right of Withdrawal
Under the Regulation on Distance Contracts, you have the right to withdraw from contracts for the supply of services within fourteen (14) days from the date the contract is concluded, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty.
To exercise this right, it is sufficient to notify us in writing within the period, through the channels on the Contact page or the email address in the Company information section. Stating your order number, full name and withdrawal request speeds up the process.
Following receipt of your withdrawal notice, the refund is initiated within fourteen (14) days. Refunds are made using the original payment method and through the same payment channel; no cost is charged to you for the withdrawal.
If the service has not been used at all, the full amount collected is refunded. If performance began within the withdrawal period at your express request, an amount proportionate to the performance rendered may be charged and the remainder refunded.
9. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Legislation provides exceptions to the right of withdrawal for certain services and digital content. Depending on the nature of your package, the following may apply:
- Services performed instantly in electronic form and intangible goods delivered instantly: for digital content made available immediately after the order, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised provided you have been informed of this and have given consent.
- Services whose performance began, with your consent, before the withdrawal period expired: the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in respect of the performance already completed.
- Learning plans and content prepared specifically at your request.
These exceptions do not constitute an absolute bar to refunds. Requests concerning parts of the package not yet performed and your unused lesson entitlements are assessed. Details are on the Cancellation and Refund Policy page.
Your statutory rights under Law No. 6502 in relation to defective services remain reserved.
10. Cancellation and Refund Conditions
The principles governing cancellation and refund requests are set out in detail on the Cancellation and Refund Policy page. In summary:
- If the payment fails, no order is created and no amount is collected.
- If payment has been taken but the service has not yet started, the full amount is refunded upon request.
- If the service has started, used and unused portions are assessed separately; the amount corresponding to the unused portion is refunded.
- Requests under the first-lesson satisfaction commitment announced on the website are handled within this policy.
Approved refunds are made using the original payment method and through the same payment channel. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank.
11. Complaints and Contact Channels
You may submit all requests and complaints regarding orders, payments, lesson planning, content or technical access through the following channels:
- The email address and telephone number in the Company information section at the end of this page
- The contact form and support channels on the Contact page
Providing your order number and the contact details used when ordering helps your request to be concluded more quickly.
Your requests are assessed within a reasonable period from the date they are recorded, and the outcome is communicated to you.
12. Dispute Resolution Channels
If your request cannot be resolved with SoloRota, you may pursue legal remedies.
Within the monetary thresholds determined annually by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees at the place where you purchased the service or where you reside; for disputes above those thresholds, to the Consumer Courts.
Applications may also be submitted electronically through the Turkish Consumer Information System (TÜBİS).
Current thresholds and application procedures are announced by the Ministry of Trade.
13. Approval and Record Keeping
When you approve this Preliminary Information Form and the Distance Selling Agreement at the payment step, the date and time of approval, the version of the approved documents, your order number and the order amounts are stored by SoloRota together with your order record.
This record is preserved in the form you approved, even if the document texts are subsequently updated. This makes it possible to demonstrate retrospectively which text you approved and when.
For requests concerning your order record and approval details, you may contact our support channels.
